January 10th: Soo... where have I been? (Again)

Short answer: busy (and if i'm being honest a little bit depressed)

Slightly longer answer: just like with most hyperfixations, neocities is a fixation that comes and goes. that paired with the fact that I've been busy studying for february finals

but it's a new year! and honestly i haven't bothered to write down my resolutions or my thoughts, and honestly i don't feel like writing the deep thoughts i've had on the new year here, so i'll just write down my resolutions:

  • Sell more at art events: last year i did one or two events and then kinda... gave up. so this year i want to commit to selling at events until i can at least turn a profit, and then see if i can keep going in a way that keeps making me money for long enough so i don't have to get a real job.
  • Get into college: if you can believe it this is a resolution because i really want to motivate myself to finish highschool in time for college. i'm confident in my ability to do it but... eh, you never know.
  • Get that one tattoo i wanted: ok so. last year on my birthday i wanted to get a tattoo of haku from spirited away to celebrate my 18th birthday, and i never ended up doing it bc i had no time nor money. so this year i really want to get that tattoo. there's not much else to it.
  • focus on original projects: not necessarily comics, but mainly focused on comics. i want to work more on Space Oddity and try to do smaller original projects on the side. i'm thinking of starting a diary webcomic...idk, maybe?
  • start testosterone: self explanatory.

    • On other news... yesterday i bought my first proper binder. and it's great!! it feels comfy and compresses properly. i'm very happy with it :) i feel like i finally pass a little bit... now all that's left is testosterone and top surgery. lets go!!

    i'm also starting drum lessons, and it's been going great so far! i'm excited for the new year! it's looking great so far :)
